This Financial Coaching Disclaimer applies to all Budget Besties® content, products, services, coaching, podcast episodes, social media posts, emails, texts, quiz results, downloads, workbooks, templates, tools, trainings, workshops, events, and communications. 

Budget Besties® is operated by My Ideal Balance LLC d/b/a Budget Besties®, a Florida limited liability company. 

1. Educational and Informational Purpose

Budget Besties provides financial coaching, budgeting education, accountability, organization, and practical money-management support. Our goal is to help you build a budget system that is simple, doable, and built for real life. 

All Budget Besties content and services are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice specific to your circumstances. 

2. Financial Coaching, Not Regulated Professional Services

Budget Besties provides financial coaching. We are not providing legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, mortgage, lending, bankruptcy, credit repair, debt settlement, therapy, mental health, marriage counseling, or other regulated professional services. 

You should consult the appropriate licensed professional before making decisions in any of those areas.

3. No Investment Advice

Budget Besties does not provide investment advice or securities recommendations. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, hold, trade, or invest in any specific security, investment product, account, fund, portfolio, or investment strategy. 

Any discussion of investing, retirement, account types, employer benefits, compound growth, or long-term planning is general education only. 

4. No Tax or Legal Advice

Budget Besties does not provide tax advice or legal advice. Any discussion of taxes, business structure, legal issues, contracts, estate planning, bankruptcy, or legal rights is general education only. Contact a qualified tax or legal professional for advice about your specific situation. 

5. No Credit Repair

Budget Besties does not provide credit repair services. We do not promise to improve your credit score, remove accurate negative information, dispute credit report items on your behalf, communicate with credit bureaus on your behalf, or provide services regulated as credit repair. 

Any discussion of credit scores, credit reports, credit cards, or credit habits is educational only. 

6. No Debt Settlement or Debt Relief Services

Budget Besties does not negotiate with creditors or debt collectors, settle debts, reduce debt balances, lower interest rates, lower minimum payments, administer creditor payments, or provide debt relief services. 

We may help you organize your debt information and create a debt payoff plan for your own use. You remain responsible for all decisions and communications with creditors, lenders, and collectors. 

7. No Guarantees

Budget Besties cannot guarantee financial results. We do not guarantee that you will pay off debt, save money, stop living paycheck to paycheck, improve your credit score, reduce stress, get on the same page with your spouse, qualify for financing, increase income, or reach any specific financial goal. 

Your results depend on your decisions, follow-through, income, expenses, family needs, debt, habits, emergencies, market conditions, job situation, and other factors outside our control. 

8. Testimonials and Examples

Testimonials, case studies, examples, client wins, screenshots, podcast stories, and sample results are individual experiences. They are not guarantees and may not be typical. Your results may be different. 

9. Tools and Calculations Are Estimates

Budget tools, templates, calculators, dashboards, projections, paycheck plans, debt payoff examples, savings bucket examples, and retirement education tools may rely on assumptions or information you provide. They may include errors or become outdated. 

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all numbers, calculations, and recommendations before making decisions. 

10. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your own money decisions. This includes spending, saving, giving, paying bills, paying debt, using credit cards, choosing accounts, communicating with a spouse or partner, changing jobs, starting or changing a business, buying a home, signing contracts, making investments, filing taxes, and any other action or inaction. 

You agree that Budget Besties is not responsible for your financial, legal, tax, relational, emotional, credit, business, or life outcomes. 

11. No Client Relationship Until Agreement

Using our website, listening to our podcast, taking our quiz, reading our emails, following us on social media, downloading a resource, or attending a free event does not create a coaching relationship. 

A coaching relationship begins only when we accept you as a client and you complete the required purchase, agreement, onboarding, or other process we require. 

12. Group Settings and Confidentiality

If you participate in a group call, workshop, webinar, community, or public setting, do not share information you want kept private. We cannot guarantee confidentiality in group or public settings. 

13. Recordings and Transcripts

Some calls, workshops, trainings, or events may be recorded, transcribed, or summarized. By participating, you consent to recording, transcription, storage, and use as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
