Budget Besties® is operated by My Ideal Balance LLC d/b/a Budget Besties®, a Florida limited liability company. Payment Information 

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. We do not intentionally store full credit card or debit card numbers on our own systems. Payment processors may collect payment card details, billing information, transaction data, fraud-prevention data, and related information according to their own privacy policies. 

We may receive limited payment-related information, such as your name, email, billing address, purchase amount, payment status, last four digits of a card, transaction ID, refund status, failed payment status, or subscription/payment plan status. 

Quiz, Form, and Intake Information 

If you take a quiz, complete an application, fill out an intake form, request coaching, download a resource, or submit a form, we may collect your answers and information you choose to provide, such as:

  • Account passwords
  • Copies of driver’s licenses, passports, or government IDs

  • Highly sensitive legal, medical, or mental health information
  • Any information you do not want stored or processed by third-party tools

If you send this type of information anyway, you do so at your own risk, and you consent to our handling of it according to this Privacy Policy unless you contact us to request deletion.

9. Cookies, Pixels, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies 

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, tags, scripts, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember preferences, analyze traffic, improve performance, measure email and ad engagement, personalize content, and deliver relevant advertising.

If you subscribe to our email list, download a resource, take a quiz, make a purchase, or otherwise provide your email address, we may send you educational content, newsletters, promotions, updates, and offers. 

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting hello@budgetbesties.com. We may still send transactional or service-related emails, such as purchase confirmations, coaching reminders, legal notices, account updates, or support responses. 

11. Text Messages and Phone Calls 

If you provide your phone number, we may contact you by phone, text, or similar technology related to your inquiry, quiz, purchase, coaching, customer support, reminders, updates, or marketing, based on the consent you provided and as permitted by law. 

Marketing text consent is not required to purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@budgetbesties.com

We do not sell or share text messaging opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing. We may share information with service providers that help us send and manage calls or messages. 

12. AI Tools, Automation, Transcripts, and Recordings 

We may use AI tools, automation tools, transcription tools, summarization tools, and similar technologies to operate our business, support clients, manage information, improve our content, summarize calls, analyze quiz or form responses, draft internal materials, assist with customer support, and improve our products and services. 

If coaching calls, group calls, workshops, or trainings are recorded, transcribed, or summarized, those recordings, transcripts, or summaries may be used for service delivery, replay access, documentation, quality assurance, training, internal review, or business operations. 

AI and automated tools may be provided by third parties. Do not submit highly sensitive information unless we specifically request it through a secure process. AI-generated or automated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you should not rely on them without review. 

13. Client Financial Information 

Because Budget Besties provides financial coaching and budgeting education, you may choose to share financial information with us, such as income, debt balances, savings goals, bills, payment amounts, bank names, spending categories, account organization, credit card habits, or other money-related information. 

We use this information to provide coaching, education, support, organization, and customer service. We do not use this information to provide investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, credit repair, debt settlement, or other regulated professional services. 

We ask that you avoid sending full account numbers, login credentials, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information. 

14. Data Retention 

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, operate our business, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, improve our services, and protect our rights. 

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and purpose for collection. We may retain purchase, tax, accounting, legal, payment, client, and communication records for longer periods where necessary for business or legal reasons. 

When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. You are responsible for keeping your own devices, email accounts, passwords, and internet access secure.

If California privacy law applies to us and you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit use of sensitive personal information, and non discrimination. 

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the categories listed in this Privacy Policy, including identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation approximations, professional or employment-related information if you provide it, financial information you voluntarily provide for coaching, and inferences from your interactions with us. 

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited information with analytics and advertising partners for targeted advertising, where permitted by law.

20. Florida Privacy and Breach Rights
